Meet the MC

Who are you and what do you do at MC?
Hi, I’m Marjaana, and I’m a senior consultant in our brand practice, Helsinki office.

Tell us something about your career!
I studied in Aalto Uni, Marketing as my major. Before MC, I worked at Neste and Picnic Group – and I actually also wrote my thesis on the customer experience in Picnic’s coffee houses.

How would you describe your work as a senior consultant at Marketing Clinic?
My main focus is on helping our B2B clients with their content and marketing related projects. Currently, I am working on my first brand strategy project and it has been super inspiring! I enjoy constantly learning about new brand and marketing related topics and new ways to approach them.

What do you like the best about your job?
Boring answer, but people and inspiring projects! I love being able to work on a variety of cases and clients.

What do you like to do outside of work?
You can find me often either doing yoga, Les Mills classes or running in Keskuspuisto. I also enjoy trying out all the new restaurants and coffee houses with my family and friends. I am a real summer person, as you may see from the picture I chose for this blog. I’m longing for the day when we are able to travel again – to somewhere warm!

What’s your number 1 career tip for the younger self?
Have a coffee or lunch with people you find inspiring – people are always happy to help and sparr others!
