Who are you and what do you do at MC?
Hi! My name is Miranda Schüler, I am working as a consultant at Marketing Clinic in Sweden. The primary focus of my work is supporting our clients to achieve growth, mainly through insights creation, business strategy and marketing & brand strategy. This of course entails many different tasks and types of projects.
What do you like the best about your job?
I really love the variety! One day I might be leading a focus group with pet owners, and the next day I might be participating in a workshop aiming at improving assortment strategy. I think that being involved in the entire process, often carrying out the research ourselves, provides such a great understanding for the projects that we work on and in the end gives greater value to our customers. Having such variety also enables for me to constantly learn new things.
How would you describe our work culture?
Working at MC, I have gotten the opportunity to grow and have felt challenged but still part of a safe, friendly and fun environment since day one. Our culture is characterized by a high degree of individual responsibility, but at the same time we often work together in teams and always support each other.
What’s your number 1 career tip for the younger self?
Be curious and dare to challenge yourself sometimes. It has been said by many others before me, but I think that the best way to learn and grow is to try things out yourself and to push yourself a little bit into what you perceive to be uncomfortable situations.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Something that I share with my entire family is that I love activities outdoors, such as kayaking, hiking, cross country skiing and skating, so we often do such things together. I also like to be in the city, especially going for weekend brunches with friends! When I have time, I enjoy reading and have recently joined a book club, which is really fun and mind-opening.
