Meet the MC

Who are you and what is your role at Marketing Clinic?

My name is Emma Andersson and I started working at Marketing Clinic Sweden last August. I have a bachelor’s degree in Retail Management from the Stockholm School of Economics and previous experience working in a retail store and at a distribution center. As a junior consultant, I get to participate in creating growth strategies for our clients by supporting the project team with analysis and presentation of insight.

What do you like the best about your job?

I enjoy that I get the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects, addressing challenges across multiple industries for clients of different sizes. Working as a junior consultant is fun and challenging, I get to work on new tasks often and am currently acquiring a valuable toolbox of skills and knowledge that I will bring with me throughout my career. The backing of my brilliant colleagues enables me to stay motivated and continuously learn to become better at what I do. I truly feel that I have the possibility to reach my full growth potential at MC, both personally and professionally!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love spending time in my summer cabin and with my family and friends. We usually eat something delicious, play board games, and discuss interesting topics. I also like sports, especially gymnastics which I practiced for many years. Nowadays, I spend many hours at the gym since working out is important for my mental well-being.

What are your top 5 career tips for the younger self?

• Believe in yourself and stop comparing yourself with peers
• Be comfortable being uncomfortable and make every failure into a lesson
• Learn as much as you can every day and never be afraid of asking too many questions
• Surround yourself with positive and ambitious people that inspire you
• Stop worrying too much beforehand, hard work will prevail

How do you feel about becoming a part of Knowit?
