Meet the MC

Who are you and what is your role at MC?

My name is Adrian Lines, and I joined Marketing Clinic as an Associate this January. During my time in the role my main responsibilities have been to support the teams with analysis and insight in a very diverse set of projects.

What do you like the best about your job?

There are a lot of things that I value about working as an Associate at Marketing Clinic. First and foremost, I enjoy having the opportunity of working on a broad range of projects, with large clients from different industries. Every day as an Associate poses a new challenge, and this leads to continuous learning that will help me throughout my career. Another aspect I appreciate is that I’ve been given genuine responsibility in the project teams I work in since day one. This responsibility, combined with great support from my colleagues, has led to vast personal and professional growth already.

What do you like to do outside of work?

In my free time I love to hang out with friends, and to explore new things and places. Having just moved to Oslo, I spend a lot of time getting to know the city and all that it has to offer. I’ve also always played football, so I’ve joined a new football team, and I’m looking forward to the season starting!

What’s your number 1 career tip for your younger self?

Focus on yourself, and not everyone else. In my last year of business school, I worried a lot about getting a specific job in a specific company and compared myself a lot to my peers. I applied for jobs I didn’t really want, just because I knew that was what people expected from me. Luckily in Marketing Clinic I found a company that, although quite small in size, ticked all the boxes that I looked for in my first job, and I couldn’t be happier with where I am.
